This Ghirardelli Peppermint Bark chocolate has 3 component to it which makes it taste very interesting as you take a bite at it. What's to say about Lindor Truffles? Yum. There isn't a bad flavor in the bunch, although I was genuinely surprised to find out Nestle is making Lindt products now. You do have to make sure the truffles are kept at the right temperature - too cold and the truffle gets stiff, too warm and they get gloppy. It's a shame they can't make them a little more stable, but hey, it's chocolate, so you can't complain too much. This is a nice assortment of milk chocolate, dark chocolate, white chocolate, caramel and peanut butter. The caramel and peanut butter are way too sweet and I suspect a recent addition due to the Nestle connection (not there years ago). This has the great balance of cocoa flavor and creamy milk. the Excellence Extra Creamey is a little strong. Dark Chocolate enamored people try the 70% and Classic Milk by Lindt's. Best recipe over Cadbury, Hershey, Symphony, Ritter (German).

I bought these for baking and it is a miracle that I am able to do so since everyone in the house seems to nibble on them here and there. They are easy to bake with, melt quickly, have a wonderful taste and if you manage to hide them somewhere in the fridge where your family won't find them, they will keep quite well for several weeks. I've actually hidden several in the back of the freezer and then baked with them and the taste was still of the same high quality.
