This Ghirardelli Peppermint Bark chocolate has 3 component to it which makes it taste very interesting as you take a bite at it. Chocolate layer (available in milk or dark or 60% dark), white chocolate layer, and peppermint crust. It's kind of unorthodox to use peppermint (or replace mint) with chocolate (as you might be tired of the peppermint candy cane), but they didn't put too much peppermint crust so it is good. but enough to give the kick of the mint taste (and mintier than the regular mint chocolate)
If you like mint or peppermint, there is a good chance that you will like this peppermint bark chocolate (maybe not at the first bite). This is perfect for the holiday time, after dinner and dessert.

I can honestly say that these Ghirardelli raspberry filled chocolates are some of the best I've ever had, and are easily the best widely available in the US. I have had better (an Italian import that I cannot remember the name of), but they weren't that much better.
As another reviewer noted, the filling does contain actual raspberry seeds, and while some might not like that, I personally enjoy it. It lets me know that the filling I am consuming is made from real raspberries, not some boiled down concentrate with artificial flavors.
These are slightly expensive, but their worth the price in my opinion. Not too sweet, not too gummy, perfect served alongside coffee or as a petite desert after a meal. They also go well with a dark chocolate cake or brownie and ice cream.

What a surprise when I only received 3 bars total! The seller blamed it on Amazon putting in the wrong information. The ad was marked as sold out for a few days. Hello, I love dark chocolate, and that is putting it mildly. These are without a doubt the best chocolates that I have ever had. I have tried all kinds of Chocolates.
They are so good that I nick named them "Crack Balls" because I found myself addicted to them. I could barely stop eating them.

I received a couple of bags of these for Christmas. I absolutely love getting these for Christmas and it's become a tradition in our household. The only disappointment this year though was that the mix was very uneven. There were only 2 peanut butter, 2 white chocolate, and 2 milk chocolate per bag. I used these to fill small boxes as wedding favors. The wedding favors were beautiful, inexpensive, and delicious! The price on Amazon was far better than what I could get even at my local [...] wholesale. I live in Florida and ordered these in AUGUST of all times. The box sat out on my shady but hot patio from 1 PM until 7 (I didn't realize the package was coming early). Some of the truffles at the bottom of one box were melted, the other box was fine. The truffles came in a very large box packed with Styrofoam and gel ice packs, but after several hours in 95 degree heat, some of the truffles were still a little damaged. I think these are an excellent price, but consider the season in which you plan to order. If you can't plan to be home in the hot season, this is not your best option. Out of all 120 truffles total, probably only 10 or 12 were unusable. Overall, this worked out great for me.
